The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, has begged President Muhammadu Buhari to forgive the self-appointed Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo Igboho over his agitations to disintegrate Nigeria.



Oluwo said Sunday Igboho, who was declared wanted after his house was raided last week by the DSS, has suffered a lot.

The traditional ruler said Igboho will drop his agitations, adding that he would take him on a visit to Buhari.

In a letter to the President on Friday, the Oluwo said Sunday Igboho earned his popularity as an activist whose joy is to liberate the cheated.



A member representing Chikun and Kajuru federal constituency of Kaduna State, Hon. Yakubu Umar Barde has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to seek the assistance of foreign powers to end insecurity in the country.

Barde renewed the call on the heels fresh abduction of 16 residents of the Ungwan Gimbiya area of Kaduna State by a group of Kidnappers in the early hours of Thursday, July 8, 2021.



The lawmaker who condemned the abductions in a statement by his media office on Friday in Abuja said that the community was under his constituency.


The founder and spiritual leader of one Love Family sect, Satguru Maharaj Ji, on Thursday, commiserated with the family of the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet T B Joshua over his death.

Maharaj Ji in an interview with Daily Post on Thursday described the late televangelist as a child of peace, love and harmony.

“I am first and foremost a father, as Oba Asa, I condole the family of TB Joshua at this hour of losing their beloved father, indeed a child of love, peace and harmony,” he said.


Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has said President Muhammadu Buhari is obsessed with Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo also known as Igboho amid insecurity in Nigeria.


Omokri said Buhari was obsessed with Kanu and Igboho while bandits are busy abducting Nigerians.

In a tweet, the former presidential aide described the IPOB leader and Igboho as part of the solution to insecurity.

Omokri said: “Last night, hundreds of bandits rode into Maradun in over 100 motorcycles and killed 42 people, with no resistance from the police, or army.
